Now you can beat The Cardashians with Card Factory.

When tasked with devising a big impact creative for Card Factory’s key trading period, we knew we had to go big – Kardashian (‘Card’-ashian?) big.

Having identified the growing annual trend of lavish annual photoshoots from famous families such as the Trumps or even the Windsors, we got to thinking… why should they have all the fun?

To allow everyone to join in with the festivities, we launched Card Factory’s Festive Family Photocards – pop-up festive photoshoots in stores up and down the country, as well as online.

We signed up Stacey Solomon, Joe Swash, kids Leighton and Zachary, plus adorable baby Rex for the launch.

The family were invited to create their own Christmas card with Card Factory before revealing it to the public along with behind the scenes video content from the shoot.

Card Factory customers were given the opportunity to create their cards online, or by simply popping into the nearest participating store. Whilst in store, they were able to choose from an array of photo backgrounds and festive props, before having their family picture taken by a professional photographer.

Each family Christmas card is finished with a personalised message before being printed and delivered directly to the customer’s home. All for just £10 for 10 cards.

The result? Over 50 pieces of coverage achieving a reach over 34 million and counting – not to mention Card Factory’s personalised card sales are up 300%.
