We all love a holiday, but there’s nothing worse than returning to a grey and miserable England, followed a lengthy wait in the luggage hall. Carlsberg realised this, and decided to do something about it.

Crates of beer were sent out along luggage carousels at London City Airport, with the slogan ‘Take Me I’m Yours’, to surprise passengers waiting for their suitcases.


The stunt, which is the most recent addition to the line of ‘If Carlsberg did…’ campaigns, hopes to make returning home and unpacking holiday cases a slightly more bearable task.

Carlsberg spokesperson Dharmesh Rana, said “waiting for your luggage when you get home from holiday is that defining moment when you know that your holiday is over” – and what better way to distract holiday-blues sufferers than with free crates of beer!
