From the writer of Fight Club, Victor Mancini is a medical-school dropout who has devised an ingenious scam to pay elder care for his Alzheimer’s-afflicted mother (Anjelica Huston): he pretends to choke on pieces of food while dining in posh restaurants.
He then allows himself to be “saved” by fellow patrons who, feeling responsible for Victor’s life, continue to send cheques to support him. When he’s not pulling this stunt, Victor cruises sexual addiction recovery workshops for action and spends his days working at a colonial theme park. This dark and twisted adult comedy is released on DVD on 23rd March.
