A Slippery Business….

A year ago on Monday Liverpool footballer Steven Gerrard slipped during a crucial clash against Chelsea – a mistake that effectively cost his team the game and the Premier League title.

Now, fans of rival club, Manchester United, have erected ‘Don’t Slip’ caution signs all over Liverpool’s city centre to remind them of that fateful day and “make sure no Liverpudlian will ever slip again!”

Liverpool fans could probably do without the public awareness campaign – such was their heartache at being so close to achieving their first League title since the 1989-90 season.  But hey, what are friends for…
