innocent drinks have announced that they are, in fact, rugby.


In a hilarious Rugby World Cup video created by the firm’s marketing department, Head of Brand and Creative, Dan Germain, has spoken of how since day 1 the healthy drinks company has been “obsessed with rugby”.

He even goes as far as to say that the infamous halo logo on the innocent packaging is in fact the outline of a rugby ball, and dedication to the sport is apparent throughout the office.

The campaign takes a satirical twist on the almost comical and highly intense rush of publicity from brands across the world to support the latest major sports event. The confusion this can cause is clear, if Germain’s loyalties between rugby and cricket seem blurred.
