Disability Charity Scope Gets Loved Up for International Kissing Day.

International Kissing Day should be one for all to enjoy, and as such, Scope have created a campaign which challenges assumptions surrounding disability – via the best medium – kissing!

The emotional video portrays three disabled individuals kissing their partners, as part of the charity’s ‘End the Awkward’ campaign. Michael, one of three disabled people featured in the film, says that “End the Awkward has an important message – some people don’t know how to handle some situations, treat or even speak to disabled people.”

According to the Huffington Post, just 7% of the population have been on a date with a disabled person, and this video aims to combat some of the awkwardness a person may feel when dating an disabled individual.
