Highlighting the importance of good eyesight, Vision Express’ new advert features no embarrassing mishaps, or mistakenly sheared dogs.

In fact, their new TV spot which Monday night on Channel 4 features Britain’s most famous news anchor, Sir Trevor McDonald OBE.

The newsreader recalls a lifetime of events seen through his eyes over an illustrious 48 year career – “We are defined by what we see.”


A poignant advert that highlights Vision Express’ campaign ‘Vision Taken Seriously’.

The ad from Dare was shot by Ed Perkins and produced by Oscar-winning documentarian Simon Chinn (Man on Wire and Searching for Sugar Man).

And we bet that poor Collie breathed a sigh of relief!
