Pulling Returns for Comedy Special.
Following two critically acclaimed series, BBC Three’s hit BAFTA-nominated comedy Pulling returns for a one-off special episode in May (TBC).
A dark, intelligent, cutting edge comedy, Pulling is an acutely observed series that takes a long, hard look at sex, love and friendship – not to mention what you do when you don’t recognize the person you’ve woken up with.
Following the turbulent lives and loves of three friends who are bored but have high aspirations, Donna (Comedy Award-winning, Sharon Horgan – Free Agents, Annually Retentive, Angelo’s), man-devourer Karen (Tanya Franks – Eastenders, Family Affairs) and recreational stalker Louise (Rebekah Staton – No Heroics, Tess of the D’Urbervilles, Jane Eyre). Paul Kaye (Dennis Pennis, Strutter), will also return as Karen’s on/off boyfriend, Billy – who stumbles back in to her life by mistake and ends up making a huge impact.
