Wanted: Honeymoon Testers.
Wexford, Ireland: A travel agency is seeking a couple to spend six months visiting the world’s most romantic and exotic destinations to review honeymoon breaks.
Organisers say the ‘honeymoon testers’ will need to visit places like the Maldives or Zanzibar and undertake a number of ‘gruelling’ tasks such as testing cocktails and jacuzzis. According to the job description, they will be required to review outdoor waterfall showers and ‘”lie in hammocks slung between two palm trees”.
The Daily Telegraph reports that one fortunate pair will be paid £18,000.
The position, billed as the “Ultimate Job”, was announced by Irish travel agency Runaway Bride and Groom.To qualify candidates will make a 90 second video marketing Ireland as a wedding destination of choice.
The job opportunity follows Queensland Tourism’s Best Job In The World Campaign and comedy channel Dave’s ‘Best Part Time Job In The World’ initiatives.
