London Zoo hire concert pianist to kickstart tortoise breeding programme

Richard Clayderman, the French pianist known as ‘The Prince of Romance’ has been serenading Galapagos tortoises Dirk and Polly in a private concert at London Zoo. Although the idea was to get the tortoises’ in an amorous mood, they appeared unmoved.
