A New Chapter For The TV Book Club

Taylor Herring will handle all publicity around the TV Book Club, a revamped read-along series championing the best in established and emerging authors.

The agency will manage all communication between Channel 4, production company Cactus TV and series funders Specsavers, who will be supporting both the TV Book Club and its spin off Summer Read series.

The remit includes press handling around the new five strong presenter line up of Jo Brand, Gok Wan, Laila Rouass, Dave Spikey and Nathaniel Parker, as well as profile raising for Book Club founder Amanda Ross, who produced the Book Club in its original guise on Richard & Judy’s daytime show, and was subsequently hailed the ‘Most Powerful Person In Publishing.’

Taylor Herring will orchestrate a publicity campaign spanning the full ten week series, which begins this month. The agency is also contracted to look after the ensuing Summer Read series.

Taylor Herring has previously promoted Richard & Judy and The Galaxy British Book Awards.
