Recent work by the agency includes promotion of his No.1
selling album ‘Intensive Care’ (Oct 2005) and
accompanying single releases, we also hosted an international
launch (to 400 people representing 40 countries) in Berlin
and handled promotion of the world-wide cinecast/TV gig
‘Live at the Velodrom’.
‘Intensive Care’ is one of the biggest selling
albums of the 2005 achieving No.1 status in 18 countries,
topping the airplay charts and accruing over 5.7 million
sales and his biggest ever week one sale of over 380,000
units.
The Robbie Williams 2006 World Tour, launched by Taylor
Herring in November 2005, sold out in record time. Over
1.6 million concert tickets were sold on the first day,
valued at an estimated £80 million and smashing the
previous Guinness World Record held by N Sync.
In 2004 – we launched Robbie Williams ‘Greatest
Hits’ album – featuring the No.1 single ‘Radio’
which sold 6.7 Million. We also handled all publicity for
the critically acclaimed biography - ‘Feel’
(written by Chris Heath) which topped the book charts for
weeks.
In 2003 - we handled an integrated campaign for the release
of his Knebworth concert ‘What We Did Last Summer’,
which included a DVD premiere and hosting an international
press conference at the Odeon, Leicester Square. The release
is the fastest selling music DVD of all time.
In total Robbie Williams has accrued 22 top ten singles
in the UK alone. Seven of his albums have reached No. 1
in the UK chart and his combined global album, singles and
DVD sales currently stand at over 53 million. At the last
count, he has won a record-breaking 15 Brit Awards, three
Ivor Novellos, including one especially-prized for songwriting
(with Guy Chambers), a Q Magazine Classic Songwriting Award
and all manner of worldwide MTV gongs. Live at Knebworth,
the commemorative album recorded over three nights in 2003
at which he played to 375,000 fans (another record), is
the fastest selling live album the UK has ever seen.
