Herring Tackles Climate Change with Global Cool
1 Billion Supporters Wanted For Global Cool
Taylor Herring are to work with climate change campaign
Global Cool on a series of high profile events and activities
over the coming months.
The first project will see the agency working with Hollywood
star Sienna Miller who has signed up with Global Cool on
an awareness raising, seven day tour of Mumbai and the surrounding
area.
The Alfie and Factory Girl star will visit areas that are
likely to be hardest hit by climate change and look at the
ramifications of this. She will also hook up with Bollywood
stars in taking the campaign message to the biggest possible
local audience.
The actress joins a high profile
list of the campaign’s
supporters that includes HRH Prince Charles and the Rt Hon
Tony Blair.
Speaking about the Global Cool campaign
Tony Blair said “This
is a wonderful initiative that I hope will inspire people
the world over.
Individuals can help by doing something themselves, but also
by being part of a movement like Global Cool.”
The Global Cool campaign aims to
get one billion people to take on the challenge of tackling
climate change – and
pledge reduce their personal CO2 emissions by one ton by
signing up to www.globalcool.org.
Sienna Miller’s trip is part of the Global Cool’s
international programme of events over the coming year initially
targeting those regions where climate-change will hit people
the hardest.

Sienna Miller has already collaborated with Global Cool
starring alongside Tony Blair in a short movie spoof, promoted
by Taylor Herring, which premiered at the Bollywood Oscars,
the IIFA Film Awards. The film was screened in over 400 million
homes on the Indian continent before its general release
on cinema and as a pre-film on high profile DVD releases.
