Escape from The London Eye

launching the Incredible Mr Goodwin on Watch

Taylor Herring were asked by UKTV to promote one of their newest and most exciting talents, escapologist Jonathan Goodwin, ahead of the launch of his TV show, The Incredible Mr Goodwin on Watch.

In collaboration with Objective Productions, Taylor Herring set about organising the daredevil’s newest death defying stunt with the London Eye as their backdrop.

The stunt surprised London’s morning commuters who watched the escapologist hang upside down from the London Eye attached to burning rope and trapped inside a straight jacket. They could only watch on in awe as he started to make his escape.

There was one particularly nail biting moment as Jonathan’s jacket caught on fire but the talented daredevil managed to escape from the jacket and out of harms way in the nick of time.

A range of photographs and video were taken during the exciting stunt and were sold into national and regional media.

The results… the pictures made credited print coverage in London Evening Standard, Metro, The Sun and Daily Telegraph making headlines on London Tonight.

The story also gained 71 pieces of online coverage made up of the images and video from the stunt. Key pieces included Mail Online, The Sun, Metro, Mirror Online, Independent.co.uk, Standard.co.uk, the Guardian Online, Daily Record Online, BBC News Online, Huffington Post, AOL, MSN, ITN, Daily Motion and Digital Spy.
