JCVD the highly-anticipated new DVD from Jean-Claude Van Damme, where he stars in the role he was born to play… as Jean-Claude Van Damme.
JCVD shows the world’s favourite action hero as you have never seen him before …living the life of an ordinary guy. Set as a parody of his life, he has no money, battling his ex-wife over custody of their daughter and then dealing with the final insult of losing a lead role in the next big film to his arch-rival, Steven Seagal – who makes the ultimate sacrifice by cutting off his pony tail. JCVD already has a cult following after securing high praise and reviews on the International Film Circuit and being released across the world. Jean-Claude’s biggest hits include classic films such as Bloodsport, Kickboxer, Timecop and Universal Soldier.
In JCVD, the action hero uses his cult status and iconic scenes from his career history to save the day and overcome his biggest challenge. JCVD will have an exclusive theatrical release at the Prince Charles Cinema from 23rd January and will be released on DVD on 2nd February 2009.
