Gaucho Group Appoint Taylor Herring

Following a 5-way competitive pitch, the international restaurant group Gaucho has appointed Taylor Herring to handle trade and consumer media relations.

The Notting Hill based agency will provide full PR support to 14 restaurants across the UK, a Sloane Avenue cocktail bar and a programme of high profile events including The Gaucho HPA International Polo.

Gaucho Group have diversified beyond a traditional restaurant offering launching their boutique bar brand ‘Galante’, ice cream parlour ‘Freggo’ and a unique dining experience on their Thames-based super yacht.

The Argentinian inspired company has made in-roads to the luxury events market as promoter and owner of the prestigious Hurlingham Polo Association’s International Polo event at the 02 and events at Ham Polo Club.

The agency will focus on brand provenance and culture providing creative PR support across new launches and initiatives – while amplifying key annual events including Gaucho Polo.

Taylor Herring will also promote ‘Cavas de Gaucho’ (in Piccadilly) a unique wine cellar offering specialist wine dinners and events from a tutored, educational journeys through the wines of Argentina.

Gaucho have ambitious plans for further international expansion having successfully opened in Dubai in 2011.

Taylor Herring has considerable experience in the bar and restaurant trade having recently launched social ping pong concept-bar Bounce and Belvedere Vodka’s flagship bar Neo.

The agency is currently working with Amanda Ross and Le Gavroche proprietor Michel Roux Jr on the new cookery school concept ‘Cactus Kitchens’.

The PR firm are also on Diageo’s top roster of agencies and currently working on Grand Marnier and Red Stripe lager.
