Netflix and Chill.

We’ve all been there.

You’re on the sofa; arm around your date (maybe), glass of wine in hand (definitely), about to choose your TV binge of choice on Netflix.

The lights are low, the tension is building and just as you sink back into the position you have trained yourself to maintain comfortably for the better part of 4 hours… your mobile rings.

And it’s just out of reach. WHY.

The mood is ruined. You have to move (big no); you’ll have to restart the show (effort); and it’s probably just O2 telling you your bill’s ready.  Seriously, WHY.

However, like a hero who was fully intending to gallop to your aid on a magnificent white horse, but instead chose to watch TV in their pants, Netflix have released instructions for how to assemble your own ‘Netflix and Chill’ button.

This we-would-panic-but-we’re-too-comfortable-to-really-care button operates as a small server tied to a number of functions ranging from silencing phones to dimming lights and ordering you food. There is a god.

Warning: this is a, frankly, herculean task unless (as Netflix suggests), you have a “solid understanding of electronics and programming”… and are handy with a soldering iron.
