Force 10 Get Kate Modern

Bebo, the leading social network, appointed Force 10 to handle
ongoing consumer and online PR for ‘KateModern’, their groundbreaking
new internet drama.

‘KateModern’ is a spin-off from ‘Lonelygirl15’, the world’s most
popular interactive drama, and has taken the web by storm since its
launch in June 2007 winning over 3 Million viewers.

Taylor Herring and Force 10 have built buzz around the show’s launch,
with a wide range of activity ranging from guerilla marketing and
online stunts to mainstream media coverage.

The series centres on 20-year-old Kate (Alex Weaver), a university
art student who, against her parents' wishes, stays in London for the
summer with her boyfriend, Tariq (Jai Rajani). Tariq has recently
quit his investment banking job to pursue founding his own technology
company with his pal, Gavin (Ralf Little); while Kate's best friend,
fun loving Aussie Charlie (Tara Rushton), helps Kate let her hair
down a little!

A truly unique offering, KateModern is the UK's only serial drama
played out in real time on the internet, where viewers can influence
the plotline via interaction on their Bebo profiles. KateModern are
also able to participate through integrated alternate reality games
(ARG), live events and web-based interactivity to post messages for
the show's characters, exchange plot ideas and upload their own
videos to the characters' profile pages.
