Overview
Taylor Herring have handled PR for the British Comedy Awards since 2003 – our brief includes;

· Management of awards process from nominations,
to pre event coverage and event
· Handling PR for the presenter, Jonathan Ross
· To provide Full media management on the night
· To promote the sponsors association with the event
and their category at the awards
· To drive TV audience viewing figures
· To create positive media coverage of the event
· To handle print, TV and radio press on the night
and co-ordinate a press room back stage
· Recruitment of key media partners
· Liaison with nominees – their agents, managers and broadcasters
· Staging a nominations launch
· Driving pre event awareness with stunts and events
· Placing competitions and promotions

 
 
Results
From 2003 – 2006, Taylor Herring delivered 3 yearly PR campaigns.

These have generated:

· One of the most talked about TV awards ceremonies of the calendar
· 505 National print pieces and 1,210 Regional print pieces
· 260 National TV and Radio Interviews or News Items
· In 2004 - ITV scored its higheset midweek ratings for more than three years
