Sky PR Chief Joins Taylor

BSkyB’s former Director Of Publicity
Adrian Lee has joined media and entertainment specialist Taylor
Herring PR as Managing Partner.
As Director of Publicity at BSkyB, Lee
managed Sky's publicity departments and various agencies through
a period of enormous change and growth – which saw Sky subscriptions rise to
more than 8m households. He headed up an in-house team of 40
PRO’s - working across programme PR and consumer brand
publicity during eight years at the broadcaster from 1999 to
2007.
In the last 18 months he oversaw the
launch of many major product innovations including High Definition
TV and Sky Broadband as well as handling promotion of Sky Plus.
He was also responsible for channel brands including Sky One,
Sky Movies, Sky News and Sky Arts and masterminded promotion
of key programming such as The Simpsons, 24 and David Blaine’s Tower Bridge glass
box stunt. He also handled the media storm around Rebecca Loos’ TV
interview exclusive.
Lee comes with five years agency experience as an Account Director
at Jackie Cooper PR. Prior to joining Sky, he re-launched the
Fanta brand for Coca-Cola and worked for many high profile clients
including Sony Playstation, Mars confectionary and Diageo.
