Agency unveils events
production arm
Taylor Herring has announced the creation
of an events production division and has appointed one of the
biggest names in the industry, Danielle Nay to head up the
new arm – Taylor Herring Events & Experiences.
The new company will offer a unique hybrid service of experiential
marketing and event PR.
Nay joins the agency as Events Director
having previously worked at leading advertising agency DDB
London as Director Of Brand Content – worked on Phillips and VW accounts. Danielle
was formerly Press & PR Manager, at Five from 1996-1998 and
previously PR Manager at Planet 24.
On leaving Five she founded the prolific
events and experiential agency Dr Party and sold it in 2001
to Bob Geldof’s media
group Ten Alps Communications plc, where she remained until 2005.
Dr Party’s clients included Microsoft, O2, PlayStation,
Ralph Lauren, Cacharel, Buena Vista, Twentieth Century Fox and
Metro as well as a private client list that included many household
names.
Taylor Herring has already been active
in the field having recently overseen the creation of Sir Richard
Branson’s launch event
for new TV channel Virgin 1 and staging a showcase event on behalf
of Discovery Networks for their advertising clients.
Taylor Herring co-founder James Herring
said today; “There
is just no point throwing an expensive party unless you can extract
maximum value from it by ramping up awareness and coverage across
all media platforms. Taylor Herring is now supremely poised to
create the most fantastic positioning events for client brands
and media owners, to persuade the right people to show up at
them and to maximize publicity for the event in all channels”.
Danielle Nay added; “Bringing production firmly in-house
at Taylor Herring not only builds on our past successes but means
that we can now offer clients joined-up strategic and creative
thinking, faster responses and maximum value for money”.
